True Story:
When I was introduced to Haluan my first year of college, I discovered this whole new crazy dance world that I became fascinated by. So fascinated, that it made me hungry to become a better dancer. So I did work- Summer after 1st year I worked as an antique photographer at the SC boardwalk during the day, and danced my ass off in my tiny ass living room at night…everyday for like 4 months. I didn’t have access to any dance classes, being immobile and living in a hippy beach town, so I had to figure out a way to teach myself. Every night I’d bury myself on youtube watching videos of Mari Martin, Rocko Luciano, Gigi Torres, etc…teaching myself their pieces and focusing on making my body mimic theirs.
So I guess it’s true, hard work really does pay off! I’ve been fortunate and blessed enough to have the opportunity to work closely with, learn from, and be continuously inspired by the amazing Gigi Torres. Crazy how things come full circle..God is sooo good! =)

Um, wow.. This takes pole dancing to a whole ‘nother level. Dancers always talk about having a tight core…doesn’t get much tighter than this!
